Phuket

I'm now in Surin Beach, Phuket. This place totally rules. Our hotel is off the chain cool (Twin Palms Phuket) and the beach is sweet (see pic above). Getting used to doing absolutely nothing is tough. Woke up at 9, got breakfast, now chilling by the pool. Headed to the beach in a bit to drink and do a lot more of nothing. The beach here is fairly low key since it is technically the rainy season - that means it rains twice a day for a total of 10 minutes. The rest of the day is sunny and HOT!. Plus, the corporate resort towns are farther south.

Haven't seen any Americans since the airport. The last ones we saw were two fat fucks talking about how they slummed it on the Airbus Jet we took and how lucky we were that it held up. They are probably sitting at a Tony Roma's somewhere sucking down cheeseburgers. Still getting used to old European guys in Speedos. Not sexy at all.
